How far are you from the veterinary school at Colorado State University?

Check here tomorrow. It may still be expensive, but the schools have the state of the art equipment. I am sorry that your cat is so sick. I know several vets who graduated from this school and they are great.

I'm sorry that your in this situation. Pets can be sooo expensive to take care of. Try to look around your area for a low cost vet clinic. They are just as qualified to examin your cat but it wont cost you as much. Such places as the ASPCA or other shelter organizations should be able to point you in the right direction. I'm sooo sorry that your cat is ill. Give him a hug from me. Good luck

The suggestion to check out CSU Vet Hospital is a good one. Also, ask one of the shelters who they would recommend as someone who could help you. Don't be afraid to call around until you get some help.

Sounds like cat flu. Thats really sad, as most don't survive. I hope you take it to another vet for a second opinion.
