Every time he doesn't win a couple majors in a row we hear this stuff. Let's recap the 2007 year so far...
11 PGA tourneys. 3 wins. Leading money winner. Finished 2nd in 2 majors. 7 top 10's. 11 cuts made. Any other player on tour with these stats would be talked about as the next player to rival Tiger. But when Tiger does this, it's a down year.
Really, it's a joke when people talk like this.

In a tournament where just a handful of the field ended up under par and the winning score was minus 6, no one slipped up. Those types of tournaments are decided by the matter of attrition. Had Padraig Harrington's tee ball on 18 gone across the bridge he would be a national hero. However, because it didn't go across the bridge and Sergio blew his chance on 18, we're going to have see this scenario shoved under our noses for years to come.

Wow, how high are our expectations of this young man?
Let's see, 3 wins this year, 2 2nds, 7 top tens overall. Over $5mil in earnings, #1 in scoring average....
Yeah - he's slipping

I kind of think the rest of the guys are coming up to his level - he isn't the dominant player now because he has taken the game to a new level and everyone is playing better. But 2 firsts, 2 seconds and a 12th in the last 5 Majors is still pretty good.

tiger is still good just not as distingguished anymore...i think it has to do with the rest of the pck catching up to him...and the fact that many courses have been literally ''tiger proofed'' meaning that they have done everything they can to negatively affect tiger's characteristical play.

tiger had a bad week, you cant always be in contention. just because he wasnt in contention doesnt mean he sucks now. people always ask this, but in reality, he's fine. he just had a kid. im sure he is under stress and having less time to practice. give him a little time.

I believe his swing is a little off that's all but in reality he is slipping due to the fact of his limited play in tournaments.
If he wants to be a little sharper he needs to play in a few more events than what is currently on his schedule.

more like sliding...Golf is a very competitive and tough sports. You can't expect to win all the time. I'm sure he will rebound and start winning again.
