I know that humans lack the capacity to see it or understand it fully.

Yes. The 4th dimension is time.
Do you know that are more dimensions out there that we can't understand? The form of the Universe can't be described with the common 3 or 4 dimensions. Is very complicate and to be sincere I'm a little ignorant to understand it.

Kudos to Hairypotto for being the only one to speak of other spatial dimensions, and not just time.

Time, is not a dimension in the true mathematical sense. It can be represented as the fourth dimension, but in math (geometry) there can be an infinite number of spatial dimensions.

Think of it this way:

+ If you take away length, width, height, you have no dimensions. You're left with a point.
+ In order to have 2 points, you need a dimension - length. That leaves you with a line segment.
+ In order to have 4 line segments folded, you need to have a second dimension - width. That leaves you with a square.
+ In order to have 6 squares folded, you need to have third dimension - height. That leaves you with a cube.
+ What do you need to have in order fold 8 cubes? A fourth dimension, of course. Edwin Abbott, the author of "Flatland" called this "Extra-height." That would leave you with a four-dimensional hypercube.
+ To fold 10 4D hypercubes you need a fifth dimension, and so on.

There a different variations of string theory, but to work they all require more than three dimensions. They require 9, 10, or 25 spatial dimensions plus time.

it's harder to find then the fifth dimension.
Most physicists think of duration (time) as the fourth dimension. You could never see or measure an object unless it lasted a while. Could you?
There are three conventional spatial dimensions: length (or depth), width, and height, often expressed as x, y and z. x and y axes appear on a plane Cartesian graph and z is found in functions such as a "z-buffer" in computer graphics, for processing "depth" in imagery. The fourth dimension is often identified with time, and as such is used to explain space-time in Einstein's theories of special relativity and general relativity. When a reference is used to four-dimensional co-ordinates, it is likely that what is referred to is the three spatial dimensions plus a time-line. If four (or more) spatial dimensions are referred to, this should be stated at the outset, to avoid confusion with the more common notion that time is the Einsteinian fourth dimension.

If time is the "fourth dimension", an additional spatial dimension would be referred to as the fifth dimension. The implications of another spatial dimension are now discussed. This would be orthogonal to the other three spatial dimensions. The cardinal directions in the three known dimensions may be referred to as up/down (altitude), north/south (latitude), and east/west (longitude). When speaking of the fourth spatial dimension, an additional pair of terms is needed. Attested terms include ana/kata (sometimes called spissitude or spassitude), vinn/vout (used by Rudy Rucker), and upsilon/delta.

The fourth dimension is Time. Right?
What do I know about it.Honestly nothing, but then who does.

most people, scientists and religious theorists state there are 10 dimensions.

4 physical, 6 Spiritual/extraplaner.

They are:
Width
Length
Height
Time

yes time is a plane or dimension, it is possible to travel in time, you are doing it right now, unfortunately it isn't possible to control your travel in time. At least not yet.

DC,
The 4th Dimension is TIME. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,

EDIT:
This is Einstein's thinking. He was a brilliant mathematician in my opinion.
