I would go with the trend on this one. Folks are too self absorbed with what's going on in their own lives to actually consider that there are others who just MIGHT have somethng positive to add to the conversation. I know it's aggravating but it's just one of those things that we humans in modern society have to learn to live with. I hope you have a safe week, Rae and keep your head down. Don't want our favorite cop to wind up in the hospital. *hugs*

Because often they are just waiting for their turn to talk. Even then it is surprising how much they will actually hear. So be careful what you say when you think they are not paying attention.

Many people are too busy with pre-occupation : work, finances, family...etc.
Others, well we do live in a very narcissistic society. This tends to lead to self thinking only! So, they do not care what you say! It is ALL about them!

They probabally mean well, but have too much of their own stuff in their minds, we humans can be pretty selfish that way.
