Nope. Grease isn't very caloric. It will reduce some of the fat in the pizza and that is a good thing, but the high-carb dough and pizza sauce are where the calories are at in pizza.

No, It's not worth the bother to blot the greasy pizza, there are so many calories in it.

I suppose it depends on the individual. if there is standing oil on a pizza slice, any amount you can remove is a good thing, Blot away,
the amount of calories to make it worthwhile is relative don't you think?

The grease doesn't contain the calories, but it contains the miniscule amout of fat which really won't make a difference after you eat pizza. But if you feel better doing it, do it. It's up to you.

Hey, it's certainly not going to hurt anything. Look at the napkin when you finish and see the fat that is there and not in you.
