sorry but Im pretty sure that going to church is supposed to be a positive experience where you come out with more life rather than less. and it seems like a lot of gospel churches do the opposite. the choir is very energetic and the preacher doesnt have a monotenous voice either. however i dont feel like converting unless absolutely necessary and just want to know if there are any more interesting catholic churches. if theyre all this boring then i probably just wont ever go period.

so yeah, are they ALL this boring or just SOME?

sorry but in my speech class they said so themselves that if you want to keep peoples interest that you have to avoid a monotenous voice and to put more feeling into what you say which the churches I went to seriously lacked.

Catholics believe that you are saved by the catholic church, that is not true. Only Jesus Christ can save you.
All Catholic churches are boring, sorry. I like Baptist churches, try one of them.

If Jesus physically walked into one of those gospel churches, what would the people do? Would the choir go on singing in that way? Would the preacher keep going with his flamboyant sermon? Or would they all fall down on their knees in awe and adoration before Him?

In the Catholic Church, Jesus IS truly there; Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. We truly believe this. That is why the Catholic Mass has such a reverence about it; because Jesus IS truly present with us.

You can get a FREE CD called, "The Mass Explained" at the website below. I hope you'll take advantage of. You may find it helpful.

If you find the physical presence of Jesus Christ Himself boring, then perhaps you should look for a social club, not a church. Nothing that happenes on earth is as exciting, as profound, or as miraculous as that which occurs at every Catholic Mass.

Both Catholic Churches and Protestant Churches have some excellent preachers and some less than excellent preachers. Some have lively choirs and great music directors, some don't. But every Catholic Mass allows us to be physically united with our precious Lord and Savior, Body and Blood, soul and divinity. Jesus Christ Himself becomes physically part of me! If that isn't exciting, what on this earth possibly could be!!

I'm a Catholic, and I don't find church boring at all. There is nothing boring to me about an opportunity to participate in the Holy Eucharist. If that's not enough, there is gorgeous classical music, fantastic church art, nice incense, and tons of things going on during the service. As a kid, I loved church because there were so many sights, sounds and experiences, and I still enjoy it today.

You have a choice:

Attend the Catholic Church, where at Mass, Jesus Christ is really and substantially present, alive and glorious, body, blood, soul, and divinity, and who acts powerfully to interceed with his Father on our behalf ...

OR

Attend any other church, and enjoy the music and the preaching, because you're not going to find the real presence of Jesus Christ there ... ever.

I've only been to a few catholic churches but they all have been horribly boring. Plus I felt like a complete idiot because all the people kept chanting out phrases like robots and I didn't know what was going on or how they knew when to say what LMAO it was funny and then they started shaking hands and saying like "peace with you" or something and I just was all confused and then realized I most have seemed so rude because when they said that to me I just gave them a blank face and said "okay" hahaha.

Hi freakyboy. God tell us that Christ was a Man of Sorrows. He came with a terrible message that one day we would stand before God for Judgment and those who are found guilty would spend eternity in Hell. No where in the Bible does it say that Jesus laughed or preached any thing but Salvation. In Isaiah 53:3-4:

"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."

Basically yes. They are Orthodox which means they basically ALL run the same way.

In fact they used to do the services in Latin everywhere, so anyone can know what was going on any time even if they are there from America in Italty or France.

Yeah, they're all boring. The only way you even manage to stay awake is by doing church Olympics all the time.
