Trying to convince people that you really are sane.

The biggest challenge is the misinterpretation of the Scripture.

The famed 144,000 for example. These are Jews. They are composed of 12,000 from each of the twelve tribes. These are special people, who have kept themselves pure for special service to God. They will be set as Administrators or Leaders over the multitudes of members of the Church that will become the "bride" of Jesus.

The famed medical "No Blood" rule for another example. They missed the point about the Mosaic Laws being fulfilled at the death of Jesus on the cross. By being fulfilled, these old laws are repealed. They are no longer in effect. God himself stated later on that there is no unclean food any more, and everything given is made clean by God.

Since the whole concept is founded upon the "consume no blood" rule, we have to understand that all those food rules were repealed, and are gone. The rules about mixing two kinds of cloth in one garment were also repealed, and nobody seems to have too much trouble with that one, so why the big deal with this one?

Challenges to being a Witness: Ignorance, from people who are opposed to us and who claim to be educated and intellectual. Hate, simply for bearing the name of Jehovah. Persecution, from members of all forms of Christianity because we don't buy in to the false and pagan teachings they fill their worship with, and reject it in favor of serving Jehovah God with a clean conscience. Bias, because rather than research non-Witness information (like regarding blood transfusions and their destructive use) they choose to use only one piece of information rather than several points from several different sources. Frustration, from the forced holiday atmosphere of pagan-based & national holidays (New Years, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Christmas, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). Immense sadness, because people would rather die than actually study the Bible. Non-Witness Christians do more research into buying a cell phone or car than they do in choosing a religious organization. So for all of you who read this... before you "dislike" this post... ... are you open-minded enough to realize that you may not have an open mind?

Trying to remain faithful to the principles outlined in the bible. We are all imperfect, and, as the Apostle Paul said, the flesh is weak. Dealing with apathy is also very difficult. But, the benefits I could list forever, they far outweigh any challenges.

I can't stand when they came knocking on my door. They have no business forcing their religion down mine or anybodys throat. Stay in church if you want to do that. You want a challange? Buy yourself a doorbell or a door knocker, because your hands will be sore knocking on my door. They don't even celebrate Christmas.

to learn the true, try to identify between all this mess of false information about God, also you have against you all people who don´t respect the bible, we can´t react as the rest cause we carry a responsabilty of have the name of God in high as Paul said 2 Timothy 3:12 " In fact, all those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted. 13 But wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled"

For example, I will take the above comment, they dont take the time to read the book of Revelation complete is in the chapter 14 that explain that only 144k are redeem from earth, the people who attack us with that, only quoted verse 7 or Revelation but never `Chapter 14.

man we are nothing, we are less than 7 million in the whole word less 1 percent of Catholics but everybody hate us , despite we donn´t support war, don´t ask for tithing (10% of the salary) as all churches, we don´t involved in politics, etc

We don´t go door to door telling people "you are going to hell" we preach a message of hope that Jesus will fix all problems of mankind during his 1000 years kingdom.

A basic lack of truth, consisting of unsound theology and a poor quality, or intentionally skewed translation of the scriptures.

well first you have to worship the watchtower society which is their modern day false prophets not to mention the multitude of false doctrines they have, like only 144,000 can enter heaven although since that is filled everyone else is lost but wait did they change that to make it ok for everyone, hmm lots of false stuff, stick to jesus and a good christian church not the JW .
