even after death?

For some reason I think our physical inadequacies won't matter that much but our inner beauty, which for me also includes one's intellectual capabilities (which arguably is no different than the gift of physical beauty), would be more everlasting. To be totally honest some of us are dumber than others and some of us gain less intellectually from this world than others. Would these matter or would we all get a different self totally from within and out?

Good question, and not one with a simple answer. Some people, although they believe and may be percieved by others as being "intelligent", are instead merely educated idiots. It is our growth in our knowledge of the Word of God, not our intellectual or technological advances that are related to this world that will mean anything when we enter Heaven. It is the growth and advances in our relationship with Christ that matters.
Also, its important to remember that many of the technological advances that have come about as a result of our "intelligence" have actually hurt us rather than help us (i.e. pollution from machines, processed and artificial foods that cause cancer, etc.)
Bottom line, please don't focus on the worldly views of intelligence and success. Focus on honoring God and giving your life to Him, and you will live (in Heaven). Any man who tries to keep his life, will lose it. (Luke 17:33)

No. My belief is that it's our heart which matters. And I don't mean our cholesterol count. Some of us are brains, some of us are cretins. Some of us can't spell cretin. Anyway, I sometimes think that Jesus spoke in parables because there are always those smart people who need to think, like a dog needs to gnaw on a bone, and he also spoke plainly for the simple folk. I think that we are supposed to use our minds to the best of our abilities, and be the best people we can be.

But in the end, only kindness matters.

I am sure that we will be given wisdom in abundance far greater that the paltry knowledge we have now. I think we will be able to use 100% of our brains instead of just 10% or 1% depending on how well endowed we are intellectually.

Actually the atheists and agnostics have increased my biblical intellect with their questions because then I am forced to find answers. There are answers, just not what they want however.

As far as that intellect, no I won't need it in heaven.

Intellect for my job, nope, won't need that either.

Intellect for worshipping and praising, I think thats all that I will need in the end.

After one dies, everything that preceded death disappears. All the good times and joyous moments as well as suffering, fame, happiness, etc. dies with the person. Until this moment no one has ever proved that something else follows death except oblivion.

Remember, we all have spiritual gifts- some have knowledge, others have prophecy, but the lack of knowledge doesn't make them dumb
