my doctor says that i probably have some ADD so she gave me a medicine called Straterra. I stopped taking it because it made me really dizzy? Does anyone take any ADD medication that does not result in dizziness?

actually i take straterra and its wonderful. i'm not trying to say its right for you. but its one of the only ADD meds that wont make you loose a lot of weight.

all the meds are different you just have to work with your doc to find the right one.
hope you get better soon!

You are having a problem with your medication.
So, the thing to do is to phone or go see your Dr. She will instruct you on what to do next. That is what you are paying her for - her educated knowledge of both the body, mind and the medications.

Chances are, she may have you start again with a much smaller dose, so you don't get dizzy. Then once you're doing OK, adjust the dosage to where you get the help you need without the negative side-effects.
Of course, there are many medications available, and she may prefer to have you try a different one.
BUT It's up to your Dr. to make those determinations, and not those of us out here who really don't know anything about the chemistry of mind and body.
