Some do. Some are given as a warning, so that you can steer clear of danger. But you can't go around being always afraid either. (Think back to the day/night before. Is your dream similar to something you talked about, saw or watched on television? If so, it is probably just a reflection of that.)
If not, and it was a good dream, I hope it does come true for you. If it was a bad dream, say a prayer asking God to take care of you, then be aware of similar circumstances, listening to your "gut feeling" so that the bad ones do not. A lot of times that "gut feeling" is God trying to help us stay on track.
I hope it was a good dream, however, keep in mind that good or bad, most dreams are just dreams.

yes,
even though some dreams are ordanary dreams. Sometimes God can speak to you in dreams. Also God can send you a dream that can come true like a form of prophesy.
