I agree with all these statements,but one way I have heard of kids doing this is with a whip cream canister. They use all the whip cream or enough so they can tip the canister to get more air instead of the cream and shoot it into their mouths and inhale. This is where the term Whippet came from. Whip Cream

A whippet is a small, metal, bullet shaped cylinder containing nitrous oxide. Some people like to kill a few brain cells by inhaling them for the quick"buzz" it gives by deleting your lungs of oxygen.

a stupid way to get buzzed. or you could go to the dentist and get the same thing only they call it laughing gas.
