Yes. They have currently have plenty of leaders. The messiah according to the jews will bring them (all jews) back to the land of israel and rebuild the temple on the temple mount and will cause there to be world peace (something that is not now after the "messiah who has already come" came)

Yes. Jesus does not fit the description of the Messiah. Read the Tanakh(old testement) and you will see for yourself

They think that the Jewish nation was the first suffering messiah. They are waiting for the one messiah at end times. That is how they try to discredit Jesus.

When Jesus returns (2nd coming) they then will claim him as the real messiah. The Muslims believe he is messiah just not son of God. And I'm sure the Buddhist will claim him as "Buddha".

Yes. There have been many potential "messiahs", but none have panned out quite yet. (At least according to Judaism)
