He withdrew from the competition because the food network called him to discuss rumors about him and he 'fessed up about being less than honest about claims he had made. He confirmed that he had never graduated from culinary school as he had said previously. He also confessed that, although he was in the marines, he was never deployed to Afghanistan as he had stated previously during the competition.

He wasn't good, he was an f-ing, arrogant, liar who lied about military service, and culinary education. I'm embarrased because i'm hispanic, and as it is SOME people already think about hispanics in a bad way, that idiot just made it worse. Once the food network found out that he wasn't truthful they had to kick him out.

Jag forfeited because he had made false comments about his deployment to Afghanistan and his attendance to culinary school, both which were false.

He was a Marine, but never actually went to Afghanistan. He lied about that part. He was "a lot of places" but not there. I missed the part about never graduating from culinary school.
