Mormons, get over it already. THERE ARE NOT 12 MILLION MORMONS IN THE WORLD. Your numbers are highly exaggerated and are more likely about 6 million.

I get my numbers from here.......
http://www.cumorah.com/
Since they actually tell you the number of active and inactive members, I consider it a more reliable source.

I have nothing against the mormon people.
I do however hate the mormon corporation that is controlling and stealing from all their sheeple.

I hate it when I see half-truths, distortions, talks, articles taken out of context and outright lies when some misguided and obviously anti-anti-ex-mormon has a grudge against non-members.
It's sad, really. May they be touched by his Noodly Appendage.

Al, get over yourself already! We are over 12 million strong in the world! Look at the OFFICIAL church website for the OFFICIAL numbers: The link below shows the membership in 2005...and we've been growing for 2 more years since then.

There are over 12 million LDS worldwide, so for me to speak from a general perspective wouldn't be logical, because even as a lifelong LDS, the portion of fellow church members I have met in life is still very, very tiny compared to the whole population.
Therefore, I can only speak for myself. And I am not at all anti Ex-Mormon. Some of my contacts are Ex-Mormons and I have talked with them through answers and emails and they are wonderful people. I wouldn't judge them for leaving the church because I wouldn't want them to judge me for staying a part of it.
I'm glad that their beliefs make them happy.

That's a hard question to answer. You probably were born in the church and therefore have LDS/Mormon family whereas I was a convert at age 15. When I left, all I had to deal with was my ward and my friends. Surprisingly enough, almost all of them were okay with me not being mormon anymore. As one girl put it, that's not why we were friends in the first place. Only one girl really won't have anything to do with me, and that's not too bad I guess.

The generally are. They feel that people who left the church are liars and can not tell the truth about anything.

I'm anti-hate. I don't like when people tell lies or half=truths about my church, whether they do it intentionally or not.
