She may just not like it. Does she eat crackers or Melba toast? My brother refused bread as a kid also. He didn't start eating it until he was two.

A lot of toddlers go threw different phases. My son did the same thing right before he turned 2, I would make him a sandwich, he would open it up pick off the meat and cheese and throw the bread on the floor. He is almost 2 1/2 now and eating bread again, but very little. They really don't need bread, they can get grains from other foods. I wouldn't worry about this.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Might be a phase - toddlers sometimes go through periods where they might reject a food because of its texture or taste. That could be what's happening with the bread and oatmeal.
As long as she's eating a variety of vegetables and getting fiber from those sources, I wouldn't worry about it. It would be far more concerning for her health if she refused all fruits and veggies rather than refusing bread!

my son does that to..he's 19 mths...he will eat grilled cheese sandwiches cut in to little pieces, but when it comes to eating a slice of bread he won't eat it if it has anything on it..he is a very picky eater so,i decided to try to do something a bit healthier just to see if he would notice the difference.the last time i went to the store i bought the white wheat bread,it looks and tastes like plain white bread but it also has whole wheat in it..and he loves it just the same as he did the plain bread,,now he gets alot more calcium and iron in a slice of bread then he used to,and if he likes it and will eat it that way,,then that is what he gets..i think it's more then ok to let that be his snack if he likes it.

She just doesn't like it. It's alright if some people like different things and you really shouldn't try to force it on her cause there isn't anything at all wrong with her. I have one child who won't touch bread for anything. Another who won't eat potatoes. Whenever my children have tried something then declare they don't like it, I just let it go. I don't like some of the stuff they like, like meatloaf, or peanut butter. Be happy she eats her veggies cause most parents only dream of having a child who would do that.

Try Banana bread or Raisin bread. Every child has something they will refuse to eat till they find out it does taste good. Heck., trying mushing it up till it don't look like bread and give it a try. LoL worked 4 me.

I would not worry about it. In most diets there is enough grains for you to not worry about giving bread. I am sure in time she will eat bread.
If she eats everything else you put in front of her, then don't worry about it.
When she is a fer years older, you can have her help you make a sandwich, then she might be more likely to heat it. It is something she helped make.

Here's an idea - make fairy bread: sprinkles on a buttered peice of bread, cut into the shape of a butterfly or something cute.
Might help her start to eat a bit of bread. They go through fussy stages like that sometimes

Probably just a phase. I wouldn't force it. We offer healthy foods and they chose what to eat. She will probably eventually start eating it again if you keep offering it and don't make a big deal over it.
Give other things from the grain group. Rice, pasta, crackers, Cheerios or any kind of cereal. If she eats any of that, she's still getting a balanced diet.
