My cat is a diabetic and the last day and a half she has stopped eating and drinking. I took her to the litter box but she did not urinate but had a small amount of bloody diarrhea. I am taking her to the Dr. in the morning but I am concerned. Wondering if it could be a sign of organ failure due to her diabetes or something different?
Thank you for your help!

I, too, have a diabetic cat. It's very important to monitor your cat's fluid/food intake. Since she now has bloody diarrhea, it sounds like she may have a urinary tract infection. She may not be able/want to urinate (too painful), so she really needs to see a vet ASAP. They can give her meds to help, and do a test for an infection. You didn't say if she is on insulin..........Good luck.....

The bloody diarrhea is a big sign of problems. You need to take your animal to an emergency clinic now. She might not have much time to wait. This is a very bad sign.....good luck and let me know how she turns out.

I would give her gatoraide to keep her blood sugar up. My vet recommended that when my dog quit eating and drinking.

Definitely take her/him to the vet. You should try giving him plenty of fluids if possible.
