I don't know if you can be "cured", although I know there are several Christian organizations that say they can cure you - just don't know much about them, their methods, or their success rates.
I think people are born with these tendencies. Some obviously choose to be gay, but it's also obvious to me that most would not CHOOSE this! I think that we all have tendencies and weaknesses that would pull us in the wrong directions - overating, lying, stealing, laziness, homosexuality, oversexuality, murder, etc. Our tendencies are not what's wrong - it's what we do with them that is sinful or not.
God made you on purpose with a purpose. He made you the way you are and he ordered your every thought and action before you were ever conceived. This is very clearly supported by scripture. So how could having gay tendencies be a sin in and of itself (assuming you're not choosing this and it's obvious to me that you're not)? I just don't think it could be.
If you dig into the original texts of the scriptures that indicate that gay people go to hell, you'll see that they refer to a "lifestyle" and a lack of repentance. Does that mean that a gay person who can't be attracted to the opposite sex should be celebate? I think it might - I hate to say. But it's like the recovering alcoholic - they can't have even one drink.
The best thing you can do at this point, it to make sure you know you're a Christian, and then allow God to take care of the rest. If you're confused about how to become a Christian, read the book of Romans. All you need to know is in that book. Being a Christian is all about putting your faith in the sinless substitutional sacrifice of Christ and nothing about doing enough of the "right things" to get to heaven.
God loves you and there are many many Christians who do as well - you are not judged by everyone and if you truly seek God's will for your life, you will find it. I wish you well in your search for the truth.

Who says tht you can? Okay, first of all, I believe that you are a Lesbian, but I really don't think that you want to be 'cured'.
Second, just because a Christian tells you that you are a worse sinner than the rest of us doesn't mean that is true either.
If you want to come to Christ, then do it. Lesbian or not. I would think of you as a sister in Christ. I really would.

There is no cure because it is not an illness. However you can live your life without acting on your homosexual urges. It is a form of self control. We all have to struggle with some form or self control and this seems to be your challenge in life.

Getting cured will not happen but you can be forgiven & delievered from the temptation just the same as a drug addict, or a theif, or someone who harbors lustful thoughts for members of the opposite sex. We each have our own temptations. God can deliver us from them. It doesn't mean the urge to sin will go away completely but God gives us the power to fight them.

"If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins." It is a daily choice, confess and pray for strength. "There is no temptation that has overtaken you that is not common to man, but with temptation God always provides a way of escape." A lot of people have weaknesses they don't want; hetro men can be addicted to porn, and the like, when they really don't want to be.
Another suggestion, find someone to be accountable to. Maybe someone in your church that you trust.

1.) PRAY. Then pray again. Then pray some more.
2.) Get support from your church, your friends, and a trustworthy therapist.
3.) PRAY.
I'll say a prayer for you, too. God bless.

for one thing... homosexuality isn't a disease... you can't just go to the local doctor and have him/her write you a prescription. If that is how you were born, why would you try to change it? if going to hell is what you are worried about then don't. "God" never said that all homosexuals will go to hell... he just said that it was a sin. Supposedly, God and or Jesus will forgive you for your sins. so don't worry about it! you don't have to change yourself to benefit others.
honestly... i believe everyone is bisexual, its just that some are more open with it than others.
