some people say elliptical does not help u to lose much weight but i feel awesome after working out in an elliptical.will it help me to lose weight?is elliptical effective?

elliptical is a great cardio with resistance training which is also easy on your joints.
to lose weight you have to do cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min.
dont do it every day, mix up with other cardio exercises like running or jogging or swimming- the more you keep your body guessing the faster you will see results.

I love the elliptical machine, I have lost weight and toned with it. I can do about 60minutes and then body is jelly for 15 minutes but I feel great.

you will lose weight with any cardio, provided that you do it at a good pace and for a long enough time....assuming of course that your eating habits are under control

its better than running on a treadmill...it's better on ur knees in the long run...my sis and I have horrible knees from softball...and we have to use that instead of a treadmill or running on concrete
