You don't know when your going to die. I've heard of ppl having premonitions, but if that dream or thought or worry doesn't result in a death, then it is unfounded and not really a premonition after all. I can tell you that I have had the "creeps" many times and dreamt different situations that made me worry but when it doesn't come to pass, no one heeds it anymore. If coincidentally someone dies, they take it as a premonition. I'm not saying there hasn't been true premonitions, but they are the exception and not the rule.

In nursing school we were taught about how this is termed "feeling of doom".
I listened to the lecture and went on with my life.
A few months later, I lost a huge amount of blood, enough to get 2 units (@ 107lbs. that's not a joke) of blood after my surgery.
Long story stopped, I FELT LIKE I WAS CHECKING OUT, IT IS NOT A JOKE. I knew I was in serious trouble and death was an option. There is a chance you will know.

No one has been able to tell the tale because they have died! But people who have come close to death often speak about near death experiences where they go down a tunnel of light. Scientists say it's the lack of oxygen to the brain that causes it.

death is similar to sleep. when you come to sleep there are some little signs that you will fall in sleep. i think similar thing with death, you knew you will die within few seconds or minutes before death.

Some people do and some people don't. It depends upon their level of acceptance of the conditions that are causing death.

Some don't, some do.
Terminal patients know when their time is close. But how they know, I am not sure. I know medically how I know, they know.
However, those that are taken quickly by an accident or heart attack, do not.
