A few months back I bought a cat tree from Wal-Mart. It was really sturdy and worked well for the cats. It's a floor to ceiling cat tree that had 4-5 posts with flat surfaces in between the posts for them to lay on.

I ended up breaking it becuz I'm not patient, so when trying to move it, rather than taking the top apart, I tried sliding it down plastic broke in one of the posts. I went back to get another one and ended up with a very cheaply made one.

A while back I wrote down the company name and was going to email them, but I got sidetracked with other projects. We have two new kittens in addition to our older two cats, so having the cat tree would be great, but Walmart hasn't had any in.

Does anyone know the name of the company that made the tree? I know they have a website, but I've lost the link and I ended up losing the paper that came with the box.

Any help would be much appreciated as the kittens are getting older and I know they'd enjoy the tree.

Thank you so much! :)

It really may not be cost effective to even have it repaired, assuming you could even do that. There are several things to consider with cat trees, and that is how they will stand up. You mentioned that they are getting older, which means more weight. The cat tree has to be sturdy enough to not tip over when all of them are climbing all over it. Also, cats really seem to like the curved surfaces to lie on, rather than flat. And if you have a tunnel, they really seems to like going through and out of those, especially when the tunnel has a hole in it, either on top or the side.

I am a firm believer in cat trees that you get what you pay for. Drs Foster & Smith sell decent trees, but my favorite place I have posted as a link. They are not inexpensive, but mine wears like iron and has gone through a number cats, including one who is determined to destroy it, but is having little luck.
