I'd like to put a few streaks of purple in my hair. However, I don't know what makers of hair dye/hair color offer purple. I've seen beautiful shades of it on random strangers, but either I don't have a chance to ask them what they use, or I *do* ask but then forget what they told me. :(

Can anyone recommend a good maker of semi-permanent or demi-permanent PUPRLE hair color/dye, where I can buy it, and also the price, if you know it? Thank you! :)

Special Effects do some great purple dyes - Deep Purple and Pimpin Purple are the most popular ones we sell but they also do more pastel ones such as Joyride. You can see lots of hair dye results and help/advice on the following links:

Try using Kool-Aid. I know it sounds crazy, but it works! Just remember to use a good conditioner (which is important with ANY hair dye)
