You just said that you started new medicine and then you have gained weight. It does seem like all the medicine that you mentioned in your last post can certainly make you gain weight. I really don't think that it is because of your overeating anything. Since you said this to me.... I started new meds and have gained weight. I just don't know why this happens though. I guess any medication is going to slow down your heart rhythm and therefore your metabolism is going to slow down, then by all means you will gain weight.Since everything is slowed down then everything works slower. I think so anyway. This is a good guess from me to you. It seems logical though. A little weight might make you look nice. God Bless you.

It really depends on what kind of meds you,ve started. many meds contain salts that cause weight gain. Birth control causes weight gain. Some drugs make you hungrier than the norm and you have to pay attention to your eating habits. So the answer to your question is this - yes meds can cause weight gain. Look up the type of meds you are taking on the net and gather info on it. Also asking your pharmacist is an option and also your Doctor. Ask them what kind of side affects your meds cause. Good health to you!
