Cats that have seisures have some very serious medical problems and need medical attention quickly or they can strangulate by swallowing their tongues. I suggest you start with seeing a veterinarian ASAP. My cat had an alergic reaction to his distemper shots and it caused a problem called Hyperthesia Syndrome in him very bad and one of the symptoms of that syndrome is seizures. We took him to a Feline Neurological Specialist who put him on a drug called Gabapentin. Since he didn't like to swallow pills, we went through a compound pharmacy that makes it up into a cream form for rubbing onto the inner thy (which is shaved in a spot on each leg) or rubbed in the inner ear area. He has been on it for several months without any side effects now and we are weening him off of it gradually now and he is still doing great. This stuff works. It is used for Epileptic Seizures even in humans.

if he hasnt seen a vet yet i would see one asap!!

they can provide medication that will help that cat if it can be helped which will make the seizures less severe and not damage the brain.

i had a dog who had seizures and it effected his brain and he began walking crooked

my boyfriend has a beagel who has seisures often and he is on meds to help him not get them so often and if they are really bad he goes to the vet but hes been having thm for years and is fine .. just has to have his meds everyday ..

if thats something you would want to do which i am sure it would be b/c its you bff .. i would suggest a vet! im sure they can do the same for dog as a cat

Get him medicated as soon as possible. Like with any epileptic seizure, that's all you can do, manage it. Good luck.
