Jacki Chan. He speaks really good English and he is not only a great MA but he is funny as hell too.

The others are good too I cannot take their credit away where credit is due, but Jackie is great.

even Philip Rhee is not too bad from Best of the Best 1-IV

how are we judging them? by acting ability or their martial art ability? i honestly would give the all around award to jet li. he has done some very good roles in many different movies that require more acting skill than some of the other "martial actors." when you look at his roles, he has done serious to more comical. look at his role in "Fearless", he showed the growth of a character in that movie. he's also has done some pretty cool "bad guy" roles. those are usually my favorite of his. when you look at all the other guys, they usually play the same type of role. Norris is always the cowboy or military man. Jackie Chan is always the unlucky funny guy that finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Steven seagall.......well usually plays the environmentalist bad@$$. and don't get me started on van damme. he's on of the most ridiculous excuses for an actor or martial artist in the world. Bruce lee, had of lived would have grown as an actor and probably done well. he was a pioneer for martial art movies that didn't get to reach his potential as an actor. you forgot tony jaa in there too. how ever, he's a new face that is using a different style than the others and really hasn't done muc over in the states yet. i think that once he learns some english and starts working with a big Hollywood studio, we'll start seeing some great stuff from him too.

if He had lived longer, BRUCE LEE. However, I give a toss up to Chuck NOrris and Jackie Chan. Norris hasn't made a movie in AGES. At least Jackie Chan Has.

Sigh! Makes me reminisce bout the days when the word Kung Fu was synonymous with names like Meng Fei, Fu Sheng, Ti Lung, David Chung, Delon Tam and Wang Yu. But my old faves were John Liu and Wang Tao. But of the list you gave above, I'd have to say Jackie Chan, he's done it all from drama to action to love story and comedy......well maybe not all, I still haven't seen him in a horror movie, although it can be argued that his guest appearance in "Twins Effect" would qualify, but it was such a hilarious vampire chase scene that I'd consider it more of a comedy. Bruce was good too, but except for some Hong Kong films as a child star, his screen persona was the same in most of his movies, since he died young and only made a few films, his range as an actor wasn't fully explored.

All of the above.

Watch "In hell" with Jean Claude Van Damme. I was like "WOW.....he can act!!!" I was really impressed with his performance. He evolved.
