If I understand correctly you are wanting to buy 5 canaries. Why? What do you want with 5 canaries? Usually one is more than enough. For one canary you need a good sized cage 24" x 24", canary food, drinking and seed cups, gravel, millet, perches swing Your canary will probably cost about $100 the cage can be about $75 usually perches and a swing are in the cage but the bird food does not come along with it nor does the gravel. The food will probably be around $20 so all told you are looking at about $200. Give it some serious thought because they are a committment. Who will look after the bird when you are not there or want to go away for a couple of days? Birds need clean water their seed cups need to be cleaned every day which means slowly dumping the seed cup into another bowl ( do this outside) so the wind or yourself can blow the seed hulls away. If this is not done you may mistakenly think there are lots of seed when in reality all that is there are empty hulls. Your canary can starve in very short order. Their cages need to be cleaned at least every other day. You need something to cover them at night a big towel that covers the whole cage. Do not forget this cover needs to be washed regularly to keep mites from hiding in there. Best of luck Edith

It is generally recommended that canaries be housed separately as they will fight. They are solitary by nature. A large cage, the bigger the better, big enough to fly in, several different sizes and types of perches (no sandpaper), water and food bowls, a good canary seed, egg food, bathing bowl. Price depends on where you buy stuff...look on Ebay or local pet stores.

I have 4 canaries so I know.

I bought them large flight cages on eBay. They cost about $150 and them came on a stand. Very nice cages in that the birds can fly from one end to the other.

Are you in the USA? I see your word estimate and wonder.

You need canary seed, fresh green leaves and broccoli, sunshine, a cuttle bone for each cage and voila! You will have wonderful companions for many years.

No, it incredibly is a parasitical birds egg. Cuckoos try this. Cowbirds try this, even with the undeniable fact that they unload the unique eggs. A parasitical chicken lays eggs in yet another variety birds nest and the the chicken who's nest it incredibly is will enhance the parasites youthful. some species will wait till hatching to offload the unique eggs, or kill the unique nestlings,. bypass to ideal ten and ask chicken lady for an identity of the egg. i think of Indigo is stable. I in simple terms have been given an identity at " Cow chicken egg " in my handle bar and it sounds like a tournament. This seems a version on generally taking place Cow chicken dumping habit, even with the undeniable fact that.
