Hey x
I Know How You Feel !
Try PanOxl From Your Chemist / Doctor.
It Sounds Bad But It Works..
It Peels The Skin Off To Reveal The Healthier Skin Underneath.. Although Do It In The Holidays If Youre At School =D
Also Try Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes - They Work For Me :)
My Advice Is Not To Use Clearasil/Clean & Clear As They're Really Harsh On Your Skin And Can Burn It.
Hope I Helped,
Suzanne x

Today, dermatologists (skin doctors) prescribe antibiotics to clear up acne. I had a little acne when I was a youth, and I tried all the products. The one that worked for me was Clearasil soap. I continued to use it as I grew older because I had an oily nose. Then one day, Clearasil changed their formula and added moisturizers, and it no longer worked for me. So I was back to trying acne soaps again. I tried quite a few and none worked. It was a waste of money as you know. So I went online and ordered 5 different products, and I found one that works. I found Cuticura works for me. They also have a Cuticura dry formula that I haven't tried, but plan to soon. You should order Cuticura and Cuticura Dry and a bar on PanOxyl also. It has benzoil peroxide it in. Also, you should bathe with Dial antibacterial soap. Blackheads hate the antibacterial agent in Dial soap. Cuticura has an antibacterial agent. YOu may want to wash your face with PanOxyl and then wash it again with Cuticura. So here is where I buy it:

Cuticura comes in 3 ounce and 5 ounce size for about the same price so buy the 5 ounce size.

If you are in puberty, it is inevitable that you will have acne, so just wait it off.
If you absolutely hate it that much, the number one rule:
DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE.
The oils make your acne much much worse and is usually the problem.
Also.
DO NOT WASH YOUR FACE TOO MUCH.
This seems odd, but if you wash it too much it makes your face dry causing your glands to produce an excess amount of oil to make up for the dryness, which, of course, makes more acne.
Two times a day with a acne removing face wash will do.
Follow those steps and you should reduce your acne.

There are so many ways you can treate acne.
1.Drink plenty of water every day. Aim to drink at least two litres of still mineral water. If the skin becomes dehydrated, dead skin cells are not effectively shed, which can lead to blocked pores and further acne.
2. Increase the variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds in your diet are fantastic for acne because they contain selenium and zinc. Which have proven to stop acne!
Use only natural products on your skin
Many skin care products on the market contain chemicals that can aggravate acne-prone skin. By overloading the skin with harsh chemicals that strip the skin's natural oils, the skin will produce more oil to compensate — which can lead to more blocked pores and acne! Use products that contain natural ingredients such as tea tree oil, which is known for its antibacterial properties. The best method for dealing with acne-prone skin is the less-is-more attitude. Use as few products as possible so your skin gets a chance to heal on its own. If you wear make-up, buy formulas that are non-acnegenic or non-comedogenic (non-pore blocking).
Reduce stress
. Reduce your intake of caffeine
Reduce your intake of dairy and red meat
Fresh air is also very good!

see your doctor and ask to be referred to a dermatologist. Only a hospital doctor can prescribe ROACCUTANE, an extremely effective treatment for acne.
In the meantime, DON'T:
use ANY type of oil/ oil-based thing on your acne..... it will make it worse! Acne needs to be DRIED-UP, NOT greased.
over-wash your skin. Once or twice a day is sufficient.
Use facial scrubs/ anything harsh.
good luck, I know exactly how debilitating acne is, and how self-conscious it can make you feel

I also used to have bad acne. The birth control pill I'm on reduces acne, plus I wash my face every day with Proactive. It works really well, I have like zero acne now.
I also recommend pore-cleansing masks, they work MIRACLES and they make your skin feel really soft!
If you have tried EVERYTHING you definately should see a dermatologist, they can perscribe you a superman acne medicine which should clear things up like magic. =)

You could go to a dermatologist who could prescribe, in order of effectiveness, benzyl peroxide/ antibiotic tabs or lotion/ and retinol (aka Retin-A/Roaccutane).
Alternatively I would recommend drinking water as soon as you awaken in the a.m, drinking a glass at a time, (don't sip) and aim for 8-10 large glasses a day (for an adult.) Along with 'salicylic acid' face wash (known as Acnisal) followed by 'glycolic acid' lotion. (I buy mine from Peter Thomas Roth)
Buy a copy of "The Acne Cure", by Dr Terry Dubrow and follow his instuctions. (Dr Nicholas Perricone also uses a similar method). Obviously diet and vitamin/mineral supplements are useful. Esp. zinc tabs/ester C tabs/vit e caps, among others. GOOD LUCK! (This regime takes a fortnight on average with an adult, and maybe a 3 month period for a teenager, to reduce moderate to severe acne in 'my' opinion. which is all it is after all! As we are all giving you different answers!)

Oh don't use proactive I used it forever and it NEVER worked. It actually BLEACHES towels. Do you want that stuff on your skin?? PLEASE DON'T USE IT! I DONT WANT YOU TO DAMAGE YOUR SKIN!. It seriously stinks. Radiance Medical Clinic makes an AWESOME CREAM! My friend reccomended them. They are certified dermatologists that make their own line of Harmony creams. They are all NATURAL and they REALLY WORK! They have some for acne and all kinds of different kinds. And they even customize it for you - like if you want a medical level moisturizer then you can ask them to use like more lavendar if you like that scent. If you don't live in their area they can ship it to you!
Their number is:
301-512-1239
When I called I just asked about Harmony Creams. I worked with Jasmine Gulati. I guess you could say you got their number off of Yahoo! Answers or something - maybe they'd give you like a discount if you say somebody reffered you over Yahoo! Answers?
Good luck! You seriously HAVE to try these people I love my skin so much now. I am like telling this to everyone because they seriously work I love their products so much!
