Do you want to have a boyfriend? Why not just keep him as a friend.
Its not like he can take you on a date or anything. I am sure he is sweet and makes you feel good about yourself.
But with "having a boyfriend" comes other pressures... when to kiss, when to make out... when to go a little further...
A little summer romance is harmless... Just be safe...

Yes, the whole point to dating is to look for someone to marry. (Thats how a lot of religions look at it.)
Thats how it starts. All innocent and then one of you will get bored with just seeing each other at school and walking to class. Hormones will make you wanna hook up outside of school. Trust me. Been there and done that. Wait until you are old enough to handle that kind of pressure. Your friends will try to pressure you to do more also. Be careful. Besides, you should be more into your friends right now than some guy. Focus on your grades and your friends.

No,you are not too young to have THAT kind of boyfriend. In fact, THAT is the ONLY type of boyfriend a 13yr old should have. Good luck, and do not to rush into anything! You have the rest of your life to be a grown up. I know like I sound like I'm lecturing.....but trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

I would have to say yes. I say that because I am a father of a four year old girl and I think when she turns thirteen...it will be NO BOYS for her until she is finished with college. *snicker* You don't need the distractions, the heartbreaks, nor the consequences of any indiscretions. Take your time and do your homework.
