Are you leaving your Bran Muffin in the paper baking cup? Y'know, when you do that, your girlfriend can only see the *top* of your bran muffin, not the length of its . . . sides. You should trim that *paper* back so she can see the . . . whole muffin. :-)
Of course, if it's a flavor issue, that's another matter entirely.
