Usally that depends mainly on one's personality. Since I'm a bachelor, I might plan on getting a ring tattoo either of the runic symbol "Mannaz" (which means self, because no one in my family or personal life was ever supportive of me) or of a musical note that resembles the number 10 (to celebrate the number of years music has strongly influenced my life) and perhaps another one when I marry. I have a lot of other ideas to culminate the things that influence me the most (i.e. : a pair of wings; one of an angel and the other of a demon to represent that I am a pagan though I was born into a christian family).

If I could ever find the right artist- I want a tattoo of lady justice with an afro (ala pam grier)holding the scales of justice in one head and a severed human head in the other and she would stand on a stack of skulls and benjamins. I'd have this tat on covering my entire back.

The next tattoo I want is a dedication piece to my Mom who passed away many years ago. Its going to most likely be the first few lines to Tiny Dancer (Elton John) in music notes on my lower back with her name underneath it

I would want a tattoo of my kids name I would have them write their name on a piece of paper when they're young and than just have that tattooed on me I would probably put it on my back or somewhere else.

I'm wanting two more to add the 3 I have.
1. I have a son and a daugter so I'm going to get the chromosome markings XY XX. I'm going to draw it up myself with some kind of unique font.
2. I have a flower on my ankle. I want to get a ladybug or two on my opposite foot because I call my daughter (in the picture with me) Katie bug and a ladybug is the first insect she would touch.

i have 3 now, 2 butterflies and a seahorse, i'm getting at least 2 more.
ankle, thigh, back of shoulder
the next i want are really pretty butterflies done from the top of my foot wrapping up twds my ankle.
and 1 on the small of my back

I want the skyline of Richmond VA across my feet, and I want a swirly design on my right hand that starts above my wrist and ends halfway up my pinky finger.

i would only get 2 tattoos. a cross on my wrist, or my kids names on my ankles. like have their name tattooed in their fave color.
