How do i make a music file that is RAR into a Mp3 type of file?

Rar is usually a format used for grouping and compressing a number of files. It's very similar to a .zip file.

In order to open a .rar file, you need a program called WinRAR. You can download the PC version from here: http://rarlabs.com/rar/wrar370.exe

Once you install the software and open up the .rar file, then you should see the other files that are inside of it, one of them likely being a music file (.mp3, .aac, etc.). Just copy that file out and you're set.

Use Win RAR to extract it, then if it is not already an Mp3 file use an audio converter to convert it to an Mp3.
