NO!

Why not? you ask. It would cause disaster.

What effect would it have on the world economy if everyone thought the world will end on the 29th Dec. 2011? As you approached that date people would leave their jobs in droves, crime would become rampant and many would say to themselves " I can become a Christian on 28th Dec" and many would die long before this.
