* this country was founded on CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES - yet they have the gall to tell us we should keep our beliefs out of OUR OWN schools and judicial system?

What about liberals telling our students "Watch Brokeback Mountain or don't graduate?"

If you dislike the beliefs we have - STAY OUT of our country, move to another, or show respect.

First; I'm a liberal and I have never said "watch brokeback mountain or don't graduate" Where is your backing on that statement? I have never heard of one liberal saying anything in the nature of what you claim.

second; our country may have been founded on christian principles however this is suppose to be a free nation where we have the right to choose to believe what we want. No one should have to be forced to believe in Christianity if they don't want to.

third; it's people like you trying to force something on someone else that makes Christianity a huge turn off.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH

It would be better if you had said why don't we make liberals watch 'The Ten Commandments' or don't graduate.

They are on several colleges making "An Inconvenient Truth" a requirement I am currently in college and have seen an that horrible propaganda film, but not as a requirement. If they tell me I have to watch it to graduate I will get a lawyer and transfer to another school though.

Edit: It isn't the Christan's forcing liberalism on students. It is teachers. I have a problem with Christians who force their beliefs but I have equal problems on people who force political opinion on impressionable students.

It is the same thing.

Are you joking? This country was founded on religious freedom. You don’t have the right to force your Christian beliefs on anyone else and you especially don’t have the right to try to have the government do it for you. Consult the Constitution.

I can’t tell whom your xenophobic rant is aimed at but people come here from all over the world for various reasons. Some come just to make money and others come for freedom. You don’t have the right to tell anyone that they must leave because they don’t agree with you about Christianity or anything else that you might choose to adopt as your own personal beliefs.

All industrial countries have a large influx of people, not just the US. Third world countries trying to come here doesn't say a whole lot. When industrialized nations start lining up that would say a lot more.
