Because they are looking to get away with something they KNOW is wrong - and somehow believe that hearing it's ok from even ONE complete stranger justifies their actions ;););)

Really depends on the nature of their relationship, love isnt a cut and dry solid set of rules that works for everyone. The fact they are asking means they doubt that "drunken pecks" are just a friendly thing.
And thats not even taking into account the couples that are quite open with their sex stuff! Sometimes you need to think outside your preconseptions based on your experience with things

because they are stupid. They do know thier own answers they are wanting to make sure if everyone else does the same and they wouldn't have a problem with it.

imagine them saying that to their so called Girlfriend and then watch her give a good b slap =]
People just dont have common sense theses days anymore.

i think they do know what the right thing is but are just looking for people to support their doing whatever it is that they know they're not supposed to do & isn't right so they'll feel better if & when they do it, ie they want someone to absolve them of their guilt
