Hello, Konshesgirl:
The Hell taught in the Bible is much hotter than earth's core, it burns the wicked up to ashes, forever.
The Hell Christians teach came from Greek Mythology and was baptized into the early church. You will recall that Hades was separated from the living world by the River Styx. And as the story goes, Achilles was immortalized when his mother dipped him into it, except for his heel. Yes, he died from a poisioned arrow there in combat.
Concerning Hell, let us read about Satan's fate:
Ezekiel 28:18 "Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
28:19 "All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more."
The doctrine of Hell is so ridiculous and has made many an atheist; yes, scientists will never find it because it doesn't exist, only in the imaginations of preachers and their gullible congregations who do not read the Bible.
Much that the church teaches as fact is really tradition. To reorient us to the truth, God sealed a Bible code message. It is very important, and you need study it at: http://abiblecode.tripod.com
Blessings, Balaam

Science is still within a mile of the surface, just the crust is 30/50 miles thick in most places other than the bottom of the ocean.
Yes Satan is supposedly there also as a inmate much like the souls there.

Well it is very hot but over time it will cool to a block of cold stone so I would bring an overcoat for the distant future.
Now the suns a lot hotter so maybe Satan is there sending out Sun spots to create global warming. Again it will burn out.
It's all a bit silly really. heaven is above, hell below ? Hang on, what's up for us, and down is the opposite the other side of the planet. It would be up to hell from one end and down from the other.
Oh dear I wish God put a sign on one of the poles. Is heaven up down, sideways one only wonders.

Hell has an anti-science shield just like God and heaven. It's the ultimate in cloaking. Only the dead and the divine are allowed to see it and go through it.

Because it's not at the center of the earth or even on the physical plane of existence at all. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just that we can't detect it with our five senses.

Hell doesn't exist. The flaming sea of second death does, but that's with the new earth. Hell is a mistranslation.

Since the core is deep, science may not be able to probe that deep.

The scientific community has already made up it's mind that neither God, nor Heaven, nor Satan, nor Hell exists. They don't care whether they're right about any of these, but they're so sure of themselves that nothing will ever change their mind, so what would stop them from lying through their teeth even if they did find out that Hell exists?
