Oh wow! Now I know for sure BMI calculators lie. This is why: My dad is not overweight. His abdomen is flat. He's also not a sloth and he goes to work and is always on his feet.

No, that's slightly, but not overly overweight. The only reason people think that that is skinny is because of the obesity crisis in North America.

A Medium Sized T-Shirt is much larger in North America than it was 60years ago.

People are getting too fat, it could be easily argued that this person should lose a bit of weight!

Your BMI is: 26

Height: 5' 10", Weight: 182

25 - 29 Overweight
Assuming you do not have extra muscle mass or a large skeletal frame* your weight falls into the overweight range. This means you have a slightly increased risk for health problems like heart disease, diabetes and hypertension. For example, your level of risk is similar to that of an individual with a serum cholesterol level of 200. The good news is that through healthy eating and regular physical activity, you can reduce both your weight and disease risks. And to maintain your success, focus on consistent, small changes that you can build into your lifestyle.

*Generally, BMI is an accurate reflection of body fat. However, it is less accurate if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, a competitive or body-building athlete, have a high level of muscle, or skeletal mass or have a chronic health condition. Your individual history and consultation with your personal physician can be helpful.

Your Healthy Weight Range is: 132 to 167 pounds
**This weight range reflects a body mass index (BMI) of 19 to 24, an indicator of health risk. The higher weight range generally applies to men and/or physically fit individuals, who may have more muscle and/or bone. Your individual Desired Weight will vary depending on your personal weight history, family history, age, sex, level of physical activity and body composition.

Not at all. Those are my same exact stats expect for age. But i lift weights. If the male does not workout it could be considered a little overweight.

It depends on a persons frame, small, med, large, the larger the frame the more they can weigh. Also remember muscle weighs more than fat. Check out this website.

It depends on your bone structure and amount of muscles, but I'd say it's average.

The BMI chart says it's overweight, but we all have different builds, which is why it's too bad BMI charts don't take that into account.

I think 182 is a good weight for your height. Adding muscles will enhance your body, so I suggest you work out.

Actually, that person is right where they are supposed to be. You can't tell if someone is skinny just by their stats, anyway.
