I got invited to a barba-Q yesterday and it turned into an all nighter. So I didnt make it back to town to get to church. If I hire someone to go for me I can sign up for online bill pay and forget about it and always be represented on Sunday mourning. What do you think?

What good does it do you to have someone else go for you. Get serious. If you want someone else to go to HEAVEN for you, that could be arranged too . .. get to Church. And take these people you would hire with you. Save some souls and your own.
Go to Catholic Mass. Many Catholic Church with a large congregation will have mass at least once a day and several times on Sunday, you can also go to mass on Saturday night in many parishes . .. no excuses . ..
LOVE your neighbor as yourself.

No, why would you have someone go for you? That is not the same as you being there, if you don't want to go don't have someone else go for you so you can feel better about yourself. God has always been a part of your life, if you can't give him an hour a week then you need to re-examine what's important to you.

I think it's a bit loony, but do as you see fit, if it matters that much to you. Personally, church is not a must, but prayer, and Bible study is, IF and only if you are truly a Christian. If not, why bother unless the society thing is a concern to you.

If you do not want to go to Church , do not go. However, since you seem to feel the need to go or at least make a presence, you should consider finding a church that has a schedule that would better accommodate your life. If church is an important part of your life, make time for it.

I think that's a great idea. Just make sure to put a tinfoil hat on their head so they don't get brainwashed while they are doing such a good deed for you.
And don't forget to tip if they also greet and shake hands with the pastor or priest or whatever, after services. That's an extra.

reprioritize and get to church. I was up until 4am ( I don't sleep well..pregnancy insomnia) for the past three Sundays and I was there....So get up, start your day/week out right and after it is over go home and take a nap- that's what I do.

Church is only for you. There is church on TV, and on most times of the day and night.
