At His next coming "The Rapture" He will return for His Church(the bride). When He does this He will not set foot on earth but will appear in the air only to the eye of the believer. Those that are left will believe the lies of the Antichrist as to why and where all the believers went. Approx 7 years later (after the tribulation) Christ will return to earth @ the same place He departed from over 2000 years ago. This time He will set foot on earth and will return with the believers to set up His earthly reign on earth for the 1000 years(millennium). We read at one point in time "every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord". Man will know just by His presence He is God.

Worse a false Messiah will come and many will be seduced.
When Jesus comes on the clouds to get his bride there will be a trump and a shout that the whole world will hear.
As Christians disappear all around them many will come to believe and many will still refuse. Then the war against the Tribulation Saints where all believers are slain for their beliefs. ( hold on atheist your day is coming). This is seven years of trials and tribulations.
When He returns to the earth the world is going to find out how wrong they have been. He came first as the Lamb of Judah he will return as the lion the Jews were expecting. People will still not believe. Shame on them.
You want more I got it.
God Bless!

He couldn't tell anyone even if he comes, because He saw to it that no one will believe Him:
Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
After doing this, Jesus sealed things up to prevent anyone from discovering who He is the next time around. He is then safe from his followers, who would probably try to kill Him, if not in hatred, then by swarming Him to death. Look how the Beatles were treated! Or Elvis...Or the President, or the Pope. As it stands now, pastors feel confident Jesus will not show up as a man...and give them any trouble at all. He dare not show His face! And what if He did not know His own identity? Wouldn't THAT be great... so anonymous, even He does not know himself...the perfect hiding place! Or perhaps it's not what people think, and everyone's looking in the wrong place...Now that's got MY vote! Something totally unexpected...

Probably most wouldn't. While I don't believe in the apocalypse or second coming (most mainstream Christians aren't adventists, but most evangelicals are, I'm mainstream), I do think he would be rejected again by many.
You should watch the seventies Musical Godspell. It deals with Jesus coming to New York. You might like it a lot. A very good message there.

If you read the Bible, when Jesus returns to earth, it will be in a cloud of glory. In other words, he will appear in the sky and be seen by the entire world at the same time. There will be no doubt that He is Christ returned. I am sure many will quake in fear and hope and pray that it is an apparition. But, when He returns it will be with his Heavenly army and they will defeat Satan, the anti-christ who will have set himself up to be worshiped by mankind.
Remember this: Some things, you have to see to believe (scientists etc), Some things, you have to BELIEVE to see (faithful Christians)

People didn't believe He was Him when He came before! On the cross dying for their sins they mocked Him and jeered at Him and said, "If you are the Christ, save yourself!" Even one of the men crucified with Him said, "If you are the Christ save Yourself and us as well!" Some believed, including the other person crucified with Him, and some still believe. Belief in Him has never been the popular and easy thing, and we were promised that the road would be long, hard, and narrow. There are some promises I wish had not been made.

When Jesus was first here on the earth, men were skeptical then - if you read scripture you will see that men from His own hometown rejected Him, so that would be no different today, if it is was the first time He came to earth. Except the 2nd time He comes every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess, that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So everyone will believe, however, those who never bowed their knee to Jesus before His Second Coming will be lost.

He wouldn't have miracles... He'd be like anyone else, and no one would believe He's Christ... He'd have to prove it... it would take His whole life to do it but He'd be able to. People will call Him imposter and others will call Him savior, either way He will be considered as "perfect" as a man can get.

People won't except another con artist, as enough is enough. His divinity shouldn't have to be proven by him, as his presence would be noticed by all that believe in the all mighty, when and if he graces us with his spiritual guidance. When and if the second coming takes place , I personally think that there won't be much of a world to come back to.
