If i answer this question in depth, the profanity will be out of this world.
So lets just say that if there is a god, he doesn't give a flying fish about people.
And when people try to make excuses, like, "everyone's sinned, this is their punishment" i just find that pathetic. What have little children in 3rd world countries with no food or shelter done to deserve those lives? Not accepted a god they don't know about?
Urgh, I'll stop before i get too angry.

I'm interested in reading the rubbish people decide to come up with.

So if "god" doesn't cause the hardship going on in the world, then he still allows it. He lets the people he supposedly loves suffer, and trys to pass it off as free will.
IF he exists, he is an evil, evil man/being/invisible thing in the sky.

God does not cause anything do you not get it are you listening. Sin causes these things it is catastrophic.
Greed,greed and greed. Why cure these things when you get more money out of just the treatment.
If starvation is cured then we would not have to pay high taxes,as long as the world says others have a need people will pour their money into the pot.
If poverty is cured then what will we do to get people to donate to a cause we need that money for a cover for something else. We can not have 1000 dollar plate dinners for nothing we have to use a illusion and would anyone believe that.
If we have a cure for a decease like HIV. Will to treat it the pharmaceutical company will have a financial gain. then the goverment can tax them and make a furtune. But if we cure diseases like HIV,Diabetes, PVD, HEART CONDITIONS,we stand to lose and our profit margin would suffer. The money is in the treatment not the cure.....
The same with gas...let them think it is a shortage and the oil companies will never be broke. If we do that also to the light company then some would not be able to live and the old will die young. So we have to stay rich but someone has to suffer.
Why does bad things happen to good people because there is no one good but God....there is only good people by mans standards, not Gods. Jesus said if the world hated me they will hate you too. He said persecution will come and it does,if nothing never happens to you it means nothing....but if something happens then you know Satan is waging war against the angels encamped about you. It is about the word that is planted inside of you. Satan said to God regarding Job. Does Job serve you for nothing? Man causes most of the suffering in this world. Bad things
happen to bad people at roughly the same ratio as good people, It's just that there are more good people than bad.
God has nothing to do with anything, why not blame
Santa Claus or fairies. Was world war 1 and 2 an act of god or an act of man? Natural disasters are just that, they are a part of the living planet that sustains us and gives us life!
Even if you believe God created it. Man has control over most
diseases in the west why not elsewhere? You answer.
Don't put the blame on God because it's just an excuse to deny responsibility.

"free will" is the convenient vehicle here.
'God' gave us the choice to follow him or follow our own lives...
If someone chooses to cheat lie steal or murder, that is his free will...
It's too convenient.
Organised religion has caused more harm over the millennia that it has sought to heal and I'm talking all organised religion...
All we really have to do is agree to disagree and tolerate one another whatever our beliefs.
It would be better with no belief system at all but some folks need that crutch on which to stagger around.
I've been waiting for some 'bright spark' to start blaming women for all the trouble in the world since it was Eve who allegedly bit into the apple then used it to tempt 'poor' Adam...

As for disease... if we all went back to a simpler life, the best way to fight disease is to have a healthy diet and keep clean.
We are facing new diseases because of all the cr*p in the atmosphere and all the additives in our food. Never mind the alcohol and cigarettes and all the pollution...

Because god gave us a choice. Follow my path or the path of Satan. Some people choice the path of Satan and some the path of god. Unfortunately the people who seem to pay in this life are those who follow the path of god, but believe me they will not the next life. The life that matters.
We cause the suffering, pain and disease in this world not God. All God has done is give us guidelines and we choose to follow them or not.
Have you ever spoke to truly poor person in africa, asia. They are truly grateful for what they get and for being alive. Poverty is man made(greed). Starvation is caused by people also being greedy, wanting more than they need. How much food is wasted in so called 1st world. Have you ever thrown something away because you didn't like it or were full. There are people around the world who would love that food.
I honestly belive that those who suffer in this life and have been good will reap the rewards in the next life for never losing their faith and belief.

He doesn't cause it. The Devil does and god allows it. why becasue he gave humans free will. If he wanted us to follow him he wouldn't have gave us free will. Suffering was caused when Adam and Eve where kicked out of the garden for eatting from the Tree of good and evil. The tree was there for temptation purposes. The free will part comes back into play. Suffering such as starving is casued by other people having what? Free will. The governments of those thrid world countries have something to do with that. And suffering is a part of life.

Another issue is who has the right to rule over man? Should it not be God the Creator of man? Or should it be man who should rule over himself? By giving man total freedom to do as they wish with becoming independent of God, the issue of universal sovereignty can and will be answered. What do you think so far? Has man done better in ruling over himself that if God was ruling over us? Huuuummmmm

What do you mean "If" there were a God? If there weren't a God where would you get the gift of choice? Bad things happen to good people because in most cases 'bad' people chose to do bad things to good people. It's unfortunate but yes, bad people also have the gift of choice.
Third world starvation. Again its a product of bad choices. I would think it kind of hard to feed a country when there are factors, choices being made that keep that country either in civil war or from producing and marketing crops and meat. Many bad people making choices that keep money out of the hands of good people, good people that can feed, teach and govern fairly. But it isn't God's fault, it is man's fault for not heeding the lessons given to the prophets to teach man to make the right choices.

There is a verse in the Bible I recall it state " Everyone has sinned and fall short of the Glory of God" God is not giving third world salvation and disease's we are. Every one sin's it's human nature but we have to repent and accept Jesus Christ as our savior. If everyone did this all the thing that we're doing to ourselves would stop.
