Teenage Girls - help?

Well, my rooms all pink (im 13) starting freshman yr- i have blue orange and yellow sheets n pillow cases- so im thinking 1 red one orange and one yellow shelf, and orange or yellow round fuzzy area rug ( i hhave hard wood floors) and one of those platic comp chairso n wheels- either red yellow or orange- wjt do u think? anymore idea? sorry its long, my rooms EWWY

I like:
the red, orange, and yellow shelf
orange fuzzy rug
yellow chair [ goes with more colors ]
Or, if you paint the room yellow, orange rug, and red chair.
Are you keeping the pink walls? And the blue/orange/yellow
bedding? that's a bit much - usually it's best to stick to three colors.

To do 1 red, 1 orange & 1yellow shelf to match your sheets would be too too much & look cheap.

I would....
. paint your shelves in the one colour , Black
. paint anything else in your room black say, desk, bedsidetable, bed etc
. Blue curtains
. blue bedside table lamp

then...
. black floor rug
. black cushions on your bed (3)
. paint any picture frames black

This would use 3 colours overall in your room - that is enough. The black would tie in the overall look of your room & keep it sophisicated but still using the colours that you already have without going overboard.

Don't get carried away with the black by overusing it as it will take away the dramatic effect if you put it everywhere.

Don't worry about the yellow in your sheets - this will blend in with the rest & a touch will look good.

This colour scheme is quite grown up.

I think that this could look good.
