Some have answered my last by saying that they questioned what they hear everyday. But do they question their faith? If not WHY NOT? Can one be selective in what to question? Or should one question everything?

Question everything.... If one is not questioning one is stagnant..

One should question every assumption that has not been previously questioned (though often the hardest part is discovering what your subconscious assumptions are). One should also be willing to revisit your previously questioned assumptions based on new evidence and knowledge.

But of course, if you spend all of your time questioning everything you believe, you're likely to get caught in a rut.

(Just a side note: shouldn't people who are skeptics question their skepticism as much as people who have faith question their faith? For example, shouldn't they be as skeptical about their truth claim that one cannot have true knowledge, since if one cannot have true knowledge, then one cannot have true knowledge about one's inability to have true knowledge? The same doubts that led them to disbelieve in true knowledge should lead them to disbelieve that they have true knowledge that they have no true knowledge.)

I wouldn't call it "being selective", but "having limits to knowledge". In the end, there has to be some axioms that cannot be questioned (such as whether logic and reason exist or whether we have the ability to question) because we could not question without first assuming they were true.

One should always question one's faith; being challenged and being strong enough to endure is how faith deepens. IMO, if you *haven't* questioned your faith, then it's not really faith. You're just going through the motions. (I mean "you" in the general sense, not you, in particular.)

Do you know what, I really don`t care, this sort of question is a question just for the sake of asking a question, that's too many questions for my taste.

One has to "test the spirits",also.and it's also possible to have faith and doubt, and the two coexist with each other.

I question, but in the end I come back to God, because I know that without Him I wouldn't be where I am.
