sofware to edit photos and make wallpapers with pictures of people? Is Photo explosion any good or should I get Photoshop? And if I did get Photoshop, which one?

Unless you are a professional and can justify the cost of Photoshop, I suggest you get Adobe Photoshop Elements 2, You will probably find a copy for under $30.00. It will do all you want and much much more.

I really dont know know about photo explosion but I can tell you that Photoshop cs is absolutely awesome.
