I go to the beach every summer and last summer I had terrible chaffing problems inside my legs were they were rubbing together, it got so bad they turned purple and bruised really bad b/c we walked everywere all through hollywood, walked from santa monica poer to the end of venice beach etc., I tried baby powder before I would walk somewere but I guess it washed off in the ocean when I went in the water. This year I am not going to wear board shorts with brief style underwear under them I think I am getting regular swim trunks with a net in them, that might help, but what can I put in between my legs to help???

You could wear a pair of plaid boxer shorts under them, I'm sure that would be smoother against your legs. But the ultimate answer would be zinc oxide. Either for your nose-block or in desitin, your legs will not chafe. Reapply after swim.
