Not directly. You can use WinRAR to open it and extract the files, and then make a new zip file ( yes, WinRAR can handle zip files just fine ). But there is no "converter" program that I am aware of; you must manually extract them first.

You can un-rar the file with WinRAR and then zip it with WinZIP. I'm not sure if WinRAR can create a zip file, but it might be able to. I know it can -unzip- Zip files. Both WinRAR and WinZIP can be downloaded for free.

Don't know of any that will convert directly, but you could always UnRar the file then use Winzip to zip it back up.

you got a rar. file. you can extract it into a folder, then use winzip to compress it. other than that, rar. is actually compress at a smaller file than a zip. file.
