I'm not trying to make light of caution.

Nor am I trying to marginalize anyone's experience.

But I've only recently discovered that my life-long beliefs fit within the Pagan paradigm.

Being single, I have a natural curiosity with respect to insights regarding dating and relationships involving Pagan women.

Perhaps I've handled this poorly, if so, my apologies. Disrespect was never on my mind.

But if I were to date a Christian woman I'd have a pretty good idea what the paramters would be.

I know almost nothing about Pagan women.

So forgive me if I'm clumsy in learning more. I tend to be direct (and playful, when possible).

Whether a woman is a Pagan or Christian is not an issue - women are individuals, consequently there are no "rules" or parameters about what specific conduct is appropriate. At least there are none that can be made that are meaningful in this context. When it comes to relationships I think you would be wiser to relate to people of any religious affiliation on an individual to individual basis. If you try to script your behavior you are making the error of assuming that the woman is not unique. If you respect a woman as a person and as an individual, then you show that - because you want to know what -she- is like, not just what the generic pagan woman is likely to consider appropriate. Take nothing for granted.

OK, I saw your subsequent question, and went looking for the previous one (this one, I assume) which you complained did not get answered. Problem is, even if I had seen it, I wouldn't necessarily have known what you really want to ask. You know it's supposed to be formulated so the "headline" part, the part that shows before we get to "details" is in the form of a question.

Now, what is it you would like to know? What's it like to date pagan women? Well, most are more open about sexuality than Christians, if that's your question. But many are pretty fussy about who they take up with, and I can't vouch for their tastes. I am 60 years old and well past any concept of "dating," as that is understood to be euphemistic. Also, when it comes to dating, you have to think of geography, and I have no idea where you live.

Perhaps the problem is this is not really the forum for meeting women for dating. Have you tried the various Yahoo groups which are tied to geography? Have you created a 360 page for yourself, and started inviting people to be your friends on that? Have you gone to the local "new age" bookstore and looked at their bulletin board for pagan activities?

We are as diverse as any other group of women. We have our individual parameters.

I can not speak for all Pagan women...only myself. I tend to be more open about subjects that many would consider taboo and I am comfortable in my own skin. I do not think physical intimacy is a dirty sin in fact I embrace my sexuality whole heartily.

I look for a man that is on a spiritual path, one who likes himself and respects others. I am not sure what kind of an answer you are looking for...

Pagan women are no different than women of any other religious group. Different individuals have different boundaries and parameters. All that can be done is just to go out and talk to different people, get a feel for them.

You can meet like-minded people on MeetUp website. There are groups of Pagans in most large metropolitan areas.

I hope that you will find someone who will increase your happiness and whose happiness you can increase.

I put it like that because you can't depend on other people to make you happy. Happiness comes from within.

This seems to be really important to you, to find a woman, so I hope it happens for you.

I think a "christian" phrase borrowed from the Jews (or course), borrowed from earlier cultures might work.... "do upon others as you would have them do upon you"...

People is people...
