whats the point of believing in god. other than to think your better than everyone else.?

Don't know how it makes me (or anyone else) better than any other person. I forgiven of my sin, I don't have any condemnation , I have a home in heaven. You can have these too, all you need to do is to ask for forgiveness and salvation.

Belief is belief.

I don't think Belief is a way to feel superior, although feeling superior might be a happy side effect.

And people who believe one thing always think that others are motivated by superficial reasons.
