That's a really interesting argument that disproves hell, but near the middle I noticed that it says Revelations already happened. I'll put it under additional details.
My question is: When was the wedding feast and what is the new Jerulsalem?

In Isa. 33.10-1, Isaiah said about Assyria:

Now I will arise, says the Lord, now I will be exalted, now I will be lifted up. You have conceived chaff, you will give birth to stubble; my breath will consume you like a fire, and the peoples will be burned to lime, like cut thorns which are burned in the fire....Who among us can live with the consuming fire? Who among us can live with continual burning?

A careful study of the Old Testament prophets shows these expressions of the Assyrians being consumed by fire, and burned to lime are expressions of national judgment upon that nation. These expressions are similar to Jesus' statement in Lk. 12.49 that he came to send fire on the land of Israel. This is also the Old Testament basis for Jesus' statement to the Jews in Jn. 15.6:

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Isaiah's language was also similar to that in Dan. 7.9-12

where Daniel foretold the judgment of the beast about to overcome the saints of the Most High:

I kept looking until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing and coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, and myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, and the books were opened. Then I kept looking because of the sound of the boasting words which the horn was speaking: I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given to the burning fire.

This scene portrayed the national destruction of the pagan power attempting to destroy the saints of the Most High. This is the same scene described in Rev. 20.11-15:

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and t

there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne; and books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

Both of these scenes depict national judgments against a nation persecuting God's saints, both have judgment scenes, both have people judged out of things written in the books, and both have those not pleasing God in the judgment being cast into a river or lake of fire. This national judgment goes with John's expressions of imminence in Rev. 1.3 (“the time is at hand”), Rev. 22.6 (“things which must shor

shortly come to pass”), and Rev. 22.10 (“Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand”). Those who take the early date of Revelation (A.D. 67) believe these words refer to the destruction of Jerusalem, while those who take the later date for Revelation (A.D. 90-96) believe these words refer to the destruction of the Roman Empire. Whether they refer to Jerusalem or the Roman empire, they refer to a national judgment.

Thanks for answering.
Sophie, it doesn't disprove God's word, it disproves the fact that hell is God's word. Hell is a mistranslation. Jesus was talking about a dump near Jerusalem where He prophesized people would burn, and hell was created by someone else.

blessedrobert, did you even read what it said. It said Revelations isn't the end times, and was over a while back. It also said there is no hell. It does not preach fear at all.

, you bring up a good point. It's explanation of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-34) was pretty weak also. However, the idea that hell wasn't hell was told to me before by my cousin, who gave a bit of knowledge that comes from this article. However, my cousin said it was a metaphore based on the dump, while this article states that it's a prophecy for something that happenned after Jesus died but before today.

Okay, to the Christians whoare replying and calling me crazy or screaming that there is hell, plz read the article. It brings up interesting points.
Kayne, thanks for replying. I agree with your post.
I find the article very informative excluding the line about Revelations.

To summarize the article, hell is a mistranslation. I think it listed two or three things that hell is actually supposed to be called. Mainly, it is supposed to be Gehenna. Gehenna is a place south and east of Jerusalem. It was pretty much the town dump. Jesus prophecized that Jews in His generation would burn there. I think it said that that happened in 70 AD, but I'm not sure. Sheol is also mistranslated to hell, but I think it said it should be called "unseen." Anyway, Revelations has a flaming sea of second death, not hell. However, the accuracy of this article is questionable, but I still believe most of it. It seems correct.

My opinion is that Revelations is happening now, for instance the whore in Revelations is the church, that is, what the world is holding up as Christendom today, it has adulterated herself with the world and her love of money. But most of it hasn't happened yet. Certainly Jesus's second coming nor the resurrections have happened yet. You know my opinion on hell. I agree with you and this writer. Scripture teaches us that if we accept God's Son as our Lord and Savior that we will be given eternal life and all who don't will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and suffer the "second death". So we see that the choices are only eternal life for believers or death for the non-believers.

As the things spoken of in Revelation HAVE NOT HAPPENED YET, it is Clearly False Doctrine!!! Yes, there is Life after Physical Death, as there is No Death of the Soul, just a "Continuation" of life for Both the Believer & Non Believer being given New Bodies for their Old Souls to spend Eternity in Either Hell or Heaven Both of which ARE Real!!! The "Wedding Feast" Is when Christ takes His Bride (the Church, Not to be Confused with the Catholic church) to be with Him & the Father in Heaven, so Have U been there Yet??? Exactly, Hasn't Happened Yet!!! John

So am I to understand that there is nothing to fear? If you ignore the warnings Jesus gave about fearing, then you are saying that there isn't such a thing?

I won't go that way! Maybe you can, but I won't.

this site and church/CULT actually..is way way wrong. they preach FEAR...not faith, hope and love..
depart from their writing.
the wedding is when Christ come..in the rapture..not yet.
because one world religion, one world currancy..one world government don't exist yet.....oh..also there would be millions upon millions and upon millions..better yet...billions and billions of
TRUE born again christians...MISSING..suddenly...like the left behind series.
where is ONE PRESIDENT? it's not here.
means..rapture didn't happen...yet.
and if we are living right now..in hell..on earth..or great tribulation..it is written..to last 7 years..or 3 1/2 years..and again..another 3 1/2 years..there will be 21 judgement on the sinners..not the saints.
depart from false apostles, prophets, evangelists.
they are workers of iniquities.
CHRIST came to SHOW US...how to do.."GREATER WORKS" that he did....have you notice that yet?? NO.
it's hasn't happen yet.
also a very important sign of TIME ending..is..UNITY of the body of CHRIST..in truth, in faith..in agape love...had we seen this? NO...then it is not yet..time of the Rapture..(1 and 2 Thess. chapter 4 and 5)..we the body of CHRIST..will KNOW of his COMING>.for a few short days..3 days..i bet..i found scripture of US..being prepared..for His presence..so i think this fits..again..of His coming..the bridegroom was ANOUNCE..and 5 virgin having extra oil..(anointing) were ready...5 others did not..
LOVE , expecting hope and faith is what the anointing FLOWS within.
these doctrine of demons..are all preaching one basic thing..FEAR..fear..fear..fear.
depart from them...wash your mind..soul..and spirit cleanse of their doctrine of demons..
www.johnhagee.org or com..is a good source..even jack van impe is good enough..
GOD is LOVE..he/us who abide in love, peace..truth..joy..self control..wisdom..humility, goodness, faithfulness to GOD..are a good fruits of "CHRIST/GOD in us". for the kingdom of GOD..is not just WORDS...but POWER!!! signs and wonders WILL FOLLOW THEM..who believe in the name of JESUS>.to be above fear..above diseases..above lies..ect. them are those whom you should read of their writing...they need to be PROVEN..by GOD.
them false one..are heading for hell..yet..GOD is merciful..WHEN they repent and turn and follow HIM...
the end is NOT YET..we got a few decades for the church to become ONE body. and the older will accuse the younger one...which fit..the last will enter first...and the first will be last.
as in generational b/s of religious WORKS..vs faith 'it is written' therefore..satan submit to GOD's promises..given to us.

Revelations has not happened yet. if it had, we would be living in peace in the new heaven and new earth, and there would be no evil.
