If you could clear up one misconception, what would it be? I am hoping to expand a few minds here. Thanks for sharing.

I have fun. I go rollerblading, I go white water rafting, I have been rappelling, etc. I go to the beach, to movies, parties, etc.
I am just as normal as everyone else. I get angry. I lose my temper.
I believe in God and love the Lord.

I do not preach. I try to respect others.

Somehow I have the idea that non-believers think all we do is sit and pray and read the Bible.

I'd like for people not to assume that I ignore science. I love science, and it was one of my best subjects at one time. Scientists see things and start to try to explain them in one way. I see the same things and try to think of what other explanations may be possible. Science does what they accuse Christians of doing, and that is take seemingly unrelated data and making it fit into one single explanation. Why is it that every single fossil must fit within a very likely inaccurate fossil record just because it was found at the same depth? Did people not dig holes in the past? What other explanations are there that science doesn't concern itself with that are just as likely possible, or even better explanations? They accuse Christians of having a closed mind about things, but their minds are vastly more closed than ours. If I don't know something, I'm fine saying, "Yeah I don't know." Why must science constantly say, "Oh, well, this is this old, and it proves thus and so." How do you know? Because you say so? Get off it. I constantly consider the question of what if my beliefs are wrong. I just wish science would do the same and get off my back.

I want them to know that the whole purpose of God 'Allowing' Satan and imperfect people to continue to exist and the reason He sent his son Jesus Christ to give his perfect life as a corresponding ransom for the perfect life that Adam gave up in rebellion is so that a legal precedent will be set showing that man (under Satan's guidance) is not able to rule himself and care for the Earth. So when He establishes his Kingdom on Earth after allowing men thousands of years to try every conceivable type of government, there will never be an excuse to allow wickedness anywhere in His Creation again. The question of man needing God's guidance or being able to decide right and wrong for himself will have been settled for eternity.

That God does not want everybody. He chooses who to give proof of Himself to, and who understands the proof.

In my experience, God chooses a remnant of people. He has done that for the duration of the history of the world.

John 6:44
"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day."

Matthew 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.

Romans 9
33 As it is written:
"See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes men to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall,
and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.

I am not going to fight against His will! I will help Him if He requires it!

Three Distinct Beings
And so I believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

I was baptized in the name of these three. I was married in the name of these three. I have no question concerning Their reality and Their individuality. That individuality was made apparent when Jesus was baptized by John in Jordan. There in the water stood the Son of God. His Father’s voice was heard declaring His divine sonship, and the Holy Ghost was manifest in the form of a dove (see Matt. 3:16–17).

I am aware that Jesus said they who had seen Him had seen the Father. Could not the same be said by many a son who resembles his parent?

When Jesus prayed to the Father, certainly He was not praying to Himself!

They are distinct beings, but They are one in purpose and effort. They are united as one in bringing to pass the grand, divine plan for the salvation and exaltation of the children of God.

In His great, moving prayer in the garden before His betrayal, Christ pleaded with His Father concerning the Apostles, whom He loved, saying:

“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us” (John 17:20–21).

It is that perfect unity between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost that binds these three into the oneness of the divine Godhead.

Miracle of miracles and wonder of wonders, They are interested in us, and we are the substance of Their great concern. They are available to each of us. We approach the Father through the Son. He is our intercessor at the throne of God. How marvelous it is that we may so speak to the Father in the name of the Son.

have faith.......trust in "god" above all things,
"GOD" first
priorities
i ask god to grant me patience
god say no.
patience is a by -product of tribulations;
it is granted,it is earned.
i ask god to give me happiness
god say no.
i give you blessings.happiness is up to you.
i ask god to spare me pain.
god say no.
suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.
i ask god to make my spirit grow.
god say no.
you must grow on your own,but i will prune you
to make you fruitful.
i asked for all the things that i might enjoy life.
god say no.
i will give you life so that you may enjoy
all things.
i asked god to help me "LOVE" others,as much as
he loves me
god said...ahhhh,finally you have the idea.

stop telling god how big your storm is.
instead tell your storm how big your "GOD" is.
