i was in an accident ABOUT 4 months ago.I was hit by a drunk drive that left the scene after he hit the car i was in.

Agine i waited like 4 months after the accident to go the hospital, to get help.
The reason i waited so long was because i am,very wary of lawyer, hospitals and things of that nature. It was also very cold outside during this time, and i honesly thought that my pains could have been from the weather,

but when the weather started to warm up i still had pains, so i got a lawer.
i was seeing a 2 doctors for 2 months now and was discharged.
I KNOW THE ADJUSTER GOING TO GIVE MY PROBLES ABOUT WAITNG SO LONG.

SO MY NEW QUESTION IS IF I HAVE TO GO TO COURT WILL I WIN,
MY LAWYER SAYS THAT THE TIME SHOULD NOT MATTER
BOTH MY DOCTORS SAY TIME MEANS NOTHING, BEACUSE PEOPLE SOMETIMES COME A YEAR AFTER AN ACCIDENT. AND ITS MY RIGHT,

I HAVE PIP.

IF I GO TO COURT I HAVE MY FARTHER AND WIFE THAT ARE WILLING TO TESTIY ON MY PART, AND SAY I WAS IN NO ACCIDENTS BUT THIS

How many times are you going to ask this question?

The answer doesnt change.

First off.. your lawyer isnt going to take this to court. The odds he does are slim to none. He doesnt care about you- he cares about the bottom line.

Second.. do you think the world is out to get you or something? The adjuster isnt going to care. As an adjuster.. id rather you not treat for four months. then overtreat.

As long as you dont think you won the lottery.. and arent making outrageous demands... your going to be fine.

If you do think your getting like 10k or something.. well.. your in for a surprise.

My god... go have a beer or take a jog or something. You are WAY to wound up.

Besides, adjusters can even talk to you now that you have a lawyer... if your willing to pay him 1/3 of your settlement.. dont you even trust him?

You are FULL of BS. The only good thing I'm reading here is that your 'lawyer' is about to skin you alive. You will probably be laughed out of court -- only you will never go there because your 'lawyer' probably has NEVER tried a case before a judge in his/her/it's life. Four months my a** hurts -- what sort of grevious injury could you have that could be postponed until you saw that snake laywer on late night TV? People like you make me sick.

Trust you lawyer. He's done this many many times. I hope you get better. It will probably never get to court. You and your attorney and the Insurance's attorney will get together and argue in front of an arbitrator. The arbitrator will decide on a dollar amount and the insurance company will probably pay. Good Luck.

Go with the advice of Lawyers and doctors, Insurance will give you a hassle regardless of what you do or when you do it.
As long as you didnt sign any papers that discharges them, go for it. If you have, forget the settlement, they will hold you to it and is biding by law.

Since you have hired an attorney to represent you, get out of Yahoo! answers and listen to the attorney. On hiring him, you gave up the right to ask here.
