A friend of mine had a pet lynx she caught and she kept it for awhile. Where can you find one and is it illegal?

Lynx aren't in many states, they live to the north. It's illegal, you'd need a permit from the Department of Natural Resources. Call your local DNR agent with questions on rehabbing and fostering. It's possible to help a rehabber with some of the animals they work with. I doubt you'd be able to get a lynx on your own, they're not pets.

It is illegal to own a lynx. They are wild animals, not pets.

they are wild animals and are endangered. she should of just let it be and it is illegal
