Well when I eat or drink something that is from the refrigirator, my tooth hurts a lot, but when I eat an ice-cream or have something in my mouth that is pretty cold for a long period of time it starts to hurt me very very much for about 15 minutes and after then it stops suddenly. Help me please I can't even drink a glass of water!

You need to contact your dentist right away. Most likely you need a root canal. Which is when the tooth is dying and the nerve needs taken out. If you don't contact someone you may wake up with a swallon face because there is in infection in the tooth. So a doctor may but you on some meds to make sure it won't spread before doing anything. Just call the dentist.

^You need to go to the dentist, in the mean time go to the drugstore and get some Ora gel or other toothache medication and put it on your tooth, rinse with warm salt water, about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt to a cup of water. You may have sensitive teeth, they make toothpaste just for that I use Sensodyne. I hope you feel better soon.

Either you have sensitive teeth, or the tooth in question has a very nasty cavity.

If it's sensitive teeth, there are toothpastes on the market that can help. If it's a cavity, a dentist will probably have to take it out.

You could have decay, a cracked tooth, or worst case scenario, need a root canal or extraction. That much sensitivity usually isnt a good sign. If you already have a filling in that tooth it may be leaking or broken also.

if it hurts when you eat sweet foods like cake with lots of icing, then you probably just have worn-down enamal on your teeth. there is a special toothpaste that the dentist can give you that will fix this!
